Who We Are

We are organizing in the heart of the imperial core, where wealth is built on stolen land, exploited labour, and global violence. We believe that liberation must be won through revolutionary struggle, not granted by liberal democracies.

Why We Fight

We fight because we’re tired of working to survive so a few can be wealthy. Because our futures are stolen by landlords, bosses, and borders. Because our people in the Third World and our Indigenous kin in the imperial core are murdered to keep this system alive. Reform won’t save us, only organized struggle will. We fight not just to resist, but to win a world where power belongs to the international working class.

How We Fight

We study together, to understand the systems we’re up against. We organize to build working-class power and leadership among the masses. We struggle together, with discipline, clarity, and commitment to our comrades.

Where We Began

We began as Students and Workers for the Liberation of Palestine (SWLP), united in our commitment to defend the Palestinian armed resistance and the armed struggles of all oppressed peoples.

Through organizing, study, and the practice of criticism and self-criticism, we came to a clear conclusion: to truly fight for the liberation of Palestine, and all nations under the yoke of imperialism, we must confront the source.

That means organizing at home, in the belly of the beast.

Our name has changed. Our task is clearer.

We are the Alliance of Workers and Students (AWAS), and we are organizing to bring the fight home.
